The ‘Parigi 142’ collection of lighting objects connects the amount of waste available to the life and characteristics of the object itself. The previously discarded piece which is upcycled in this collection is the galotta: a Murano glass blowing element, classified as ‘special’ waste and therefore destined for disposal. These precious glass elements were recovered during the realisation of a french project, which inspired the name of the collection. Subsequently, the “waste”glass became was put at the center of a new design and found a new function, creating a three-fold limited edition: table lamp, hanging lamp and wall lights.
